Quite simply, the September 2009 Hong Kong Jewellery and Gems Fair at the Asia World Expo centre and the Hong Kong Conventions and Exhibition Centre between September 21^st and 27^th was colossal. An amazing 3,000 exhibitors from 44 countries ensured that it was the largest jewellery trade fair in the world.

Starting from this year, the Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair is actually two fairs in one. At the AWE centre, exhibitors presented raw materials, such as diamonds and gemstones, while exhibitors at the HKCEC showcased fine finished jewellery.

Royi Sal was delighted to continue our proud tradition of exhibiting at the fair and as well as seeing some familiar faces, there were also many new visitors to our stalls. We were very encouraged by the interest in many of the jewellery items and ranges.

A pleasing feature of the September 2009 Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair was the growing interest in our pioneering Moonlit crystal collection. The innovative Moonlit range incorporates a secret ingredient and a new design process that were developed by the Royi Sal team. The elegant pastel shades of the jewellery created a lot of interest amongst visitors to our stalls at the fair and a lot of sample orders were received for Moonlit designs.

Crystal jewellery in general seemed to be a favourite among our visitors at the fair, and both our Crystal Bead collection and our Crystal Charms collection attracted a lot of interest. Our pearl with bead crystal collection was another crowd favourite and is expected to be a hot seller this Christmas.

One other jewellery range that proved very popular with our visitors during the September 2009 Hong Kong Jewellery and Gems Fair was our children’s jewellery collection and this could well turn out to be another Christmas favourite.
